New Course: I-6 Software Architecture
Allright, so the first week of Uni is over now. All I can say is, holy wow! Way too much to read! The gist of this course, is that we’ll spend roughly 8 weeks developing an architecture for a to-be-developed software system. This system is quite vast, with a lot of things to take into consideration, so we’ll spend a lot of time just defining the scope and defining the different kinds of models that we’ll have to use. Eventually we will have to make Architectural Descriptions, which are basically collections of architecture models for the new software system.
Its looking to be a very interesting course! I’m really looking forward to designing a software system this way, but it sure involves a lot of reading. We’re one week in, and already we have to read up to chapter 16. Ah well, so far so good! This is the last course before we have to prepare for graduation and final internships. Exciting stuff.
